Description:

Puget Sound Energy is planning several upgrades to its transmission system on Bainbridge Island. The utility plans to add the "missing link" transmission line between the Winslow and Murden Cove substations as well as upgrade the aging transmission lines on Winslow Tap. The new lines will be unerground and will cost roughly $7 million per mile.
