"This facility will be split between two parcels, North and South. The capacity of the North parcel will be approximately 37.5 MWac and the South parcel will be approximately 42.5 MWac. Combined, the facility will consist of approximately 310,000 to 340,000 photovoltaic solar modules rated at 330 to 365 (Wdc) each. The modules will be mounted on single axis trackers, which will rotate each day to follow the sun at +/- 60 degrees. The maximum height of the solar arrays will be approximately 8-10 feet above the ground surface. The modules will be configured into strings (series) that will combine and feed the power output into 2.5 MWac or larger inverters. The inverters will be mounted on skids along with smaller transformers that step up the AC output voltage from the inverters from 500 VAC to 34.5 kVAC. The medium voltage transformers will then be paralleled into AC collection circuits feeding the Project substation.
Power output from the Project’s North parcels will travel to the South parcel along a 34.5 kV underground collection line to be built along the eastern side of Penrith Road. The Project’s inverter are set such that no more than 80 MWac power output from the north and south parcels will be collected in the middle of the southern edge of the south parcel at the Project's 115 kV project substation and IREA switch-yard. IREA's 115 kV switch-yard is the Project’s point of interconnection(POI)to IREA's 115kV Victory-Brick Center circuit."
South project site bounded by E Colfax Ave, Penrith Road, E 38th Ave and N Harback Road. North project site bounded by E 48th Ave, Penrith Road, E 56th Ave
